Ahaz Reigns over Judah

28 ^(A)Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and ^(B)he did not do what was right in the sight of Yahweh, as David his father had done. ^2 (C)But he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel; he also ^(D)made molten images for the Baals. ³ Moreover, ^(E)he offered offerings in smoke in the valley of Ben-hinnom and ^(F)burned his sons in the fire, ^(G)according to the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh had dispossessed from before the sons of Israel.
